I must say you've pick your arowana up for a very good deal. He looks great and healthy and no De at all which is good. Have you thought about using sand instead of gravel to change its looks?

I got told to use playground, that was a disaster. What's a good type of sand to use? Do you have any pics of a tank with sand?

maybe a little structure for the small fish on the bottom

Nice arowana only wored about the barbels becuase I dont think that they will grow back :( they lock like they are torn from the roots

Firstly, the Aro looks good.

Secondly, I am very surprised that your Aro also does not bother those tiny fish (esp the severum) in the tank.

I too had an "odd" combination of fish in my tank several months ago.

Thirdly: What is the Silver/White fish with the horizontal black stripes in the tank? (The one next to the convict in the bottom center-right of the tank.)

Thank you,
I'm not really sure what kind of fish that is. I got him giving to me and I sure took him cause and a cool little fish. Can't wait to seem him when he's full grown. Yeah I have a bunch of different kind of fish, cause there's some I like and some my gf just had to have so that's why its such a weird group. They all get along perfect so no arguing with that.
