12" catfish?

Anybody got any ideas on a cat that would only get to like 12-18" max?Id love to get an rtc/tsn/etc but wouldnt have enough room for it in the long run so im trying to be responsible here.any suggestions?
 
yellow bullhead or brown bullhead. id have to look it up but one maxes out around 14" i think.

oh! you want up to 18"? . you could try either of these native species, i feel theyre unfairly unappreciated
 
awesome!so I got variety for the smaller monsters here.I have a 125 gallon-maybe that should have been said 1st but I would buy small since I like watching my fish grow etc.I do want a bigger tank and probably will get a bigger one eventually but want something kool-NOW!

BULLHEAD SON! seriously if you get the chance try to get a younger one. gulpers are prob my favorite after bullheads, but they tend to eat eachother if not about the same size
 
depends on how much you feed them. my guess would be pretty fast. i guess you're not going with the bullhead :( oh well maybe next time :D
