$12 Flowerhorn

DwarfCichlidLvr thanks! I picked that bp specifically for it’s finnage, pearling and body shape. I figured, if it turns out to be a female then I will breed her. Still not sure yet. I’ll update this tread later on today with update pics of it. The picture was taken about 2 weeks ago and he/she was still in the fading process. It still is fading but the oranges are much nicer now

DwarfCichlidLvr either the flowerhorn or the vieja fenestrada/midas that I’m growing out if either come out looking nice. I’ll probably cross the blood parrot with the vieja/midas and then cross the nicest female with my flowerhorn. Only if he turns out looking nice though.

Skipping blood parrot won't be a bad idea, you can get all desired trait from midas and vieja.

Couple of pictures of the blood parrot, vieja fenestrada/true midas fry and a new white male convict I picked up today for $2. Still waiting on 4 out of 5 of the fry to start fading.

Update: Not too, too much growth but I have been noticing reds coming in! I have come the conclusion that he is a Zhen Zhou “blue dragon”. Here are some pics from a few minutes ago, it’s so hard to get any good pictures, it’s hard to adjust the lighting and he doesn’t sit still
