I don't see the tank size anywhere, what size is it?
Your Blood Parrots must be a lot more passive than mine. My 3 live together with no other fish, they harrass all other fish and then can't defend themselves because of their mouths.

Mine are not bad. They like to breed if the lay eggs and they are not protecting them too aggressively I will leave them in their and just remove the fry when they hatch. If they are being aggressive I will remove the eggs. I used to also have a convict parrot cross that was my favorite. Great temperament on him. Unfortunately I need to temporarily house him with another fish that turned out to be too aggressive.

I'll be interested in hearing what other say about the Trans Knives. I saw some for sale at a local LFS and didn't know enough about them to risk buying them.
 
how much were they going far? I have seen them around before but never paid much attention, so I have no idea how much they run.

I kind of go through parrot fish phases. Where I have a bunch then sell/trade them off and then get back into them again. I have never really had an aggression problem. I did have one mean one once, but his mouth was too deformed to be dangerous.
 
Oh gosh, I don't even know. I want to say around $18, they were 5-6" long. Really not sure on the price though. I've been debating getting an African Brown Knife for my Discus tank, I think I'll go look up the Transparnet Knives.......
 
I've only seen Transparent Knives for sale once and they were going for $12 a piece.
