How long it take you to grow that VATF out, what were the growth rates?

my vatf started turning on tankmates at about 12 inches... and it looks like he is the dominant one right now

I've been looking to pick one up to complete my tank but I could only find FATF lately.

i got him at 11" so i've had him for about a year and i think it's about 13" now. i haven't measured him so don't know exactly. I know he's at least grown about an inch or inch and a half since i've had him. i don't know the growth rates exactly, i don't think they have growth spurts, they pretty much grow 1-2" a year. maybe the long time keepers can chime in.

when i first got him, it got picked on by my orinos then i took him out and let my brother keep him for about 3 months. i had traded all my pbass and brought him back with the tat and they've been peaceful right off the bat. i've never seen them show aggression towards eachother. they are both skittish so it seems like they calm eachother down. the tat will get moved if the tiger starts picking on it

and yes, they both pick up food off the ground. i just added a huge 16"+ endli with them. they all don't pay attention to eachother.

these are my guys in a 180g, they get along, was afraid at first because the atf either punks everyone or got punked when I had it with other fish.

but these 2 became homies and always stay together
