2008-2026, so 18 years roughly. Nice run!
I love the simple canister filters, no electronics except for a pump. Just like I don't want an iPad slapped onto my car's dashboard, I don't want a filter that can fail in mysterious ways. I want to be able to source parts and fix it easy.
I prefer the Eheim Classic canisters and the only reason I replaced my old one after a decade or so was because I wanted a bigger one.
Your fish are looking great, as per usual.
