yes they do. but I can't get a bigger tank for a little while yet (have to move first)..

gotta get on that, but if i remember correctly you keep pristine water conditions 24/7 even with both large fish in the 90.
sorry for your loss though, those were monsters!

yes, keeping them healthy is not a problem.

keeping them in the tank however..is..apparently..

by the time little one is up to size (6-8 months) I will have my new place, and new tank, so time wise it should work out good.

the thing is, the big one is only 3 years old. still young.

I should be able to get at least 10+ years out of these guys, so I am hoping for a long 'relationship' LOL

How absolutely sad..i loved your beautiful monsters.. i am sorry you lost that big guy...how long did it take him to get that big?

they grew from about 2 inches to 18 inches in 2 years.

they grow about an inch per month the way I feed and water change :)

the tank looks weird now..but not for long..

I am glad I was able to find another one though..I was orginally going to move my normal red tinfoils from the bottom 65 up, but I think this might be better..

it would have been too crowded that way, this way it eases the load on the tank for a while, and it will work out so that when I am ready to move, the little one will be big and into a bigger tank they will go..
