the plecos might get annoying because they produce so much waste and large cichlids really add to it aswell

what kind of scavengers could i add other than plecos?

maybe some raphael cats?
Female Festae
1 Pearsei
2 Convicts M+F
2 Salvinis M+F
3 Geophagus Brasiliensis
3 Striped Raphael Cats
10 Barbs

I paid £30-$60 for her, she is wild caught from Ecuador. I have had offers worth up to £100-$200 for her but shes mine:)

Your plan could go horrible wrong as festae can be hyper aggressive, theres alot of storys of them killing big cichlids. lucky mines peaceful :)

I'd ditch the geos, they'd get picked on, why not a green terror(gold saum) stunning cichlids.

I agree about the greenterror/goldsaum they look amazing fully grown,
raphael cats would do well

As long as you have a back up tank to move fish, you should be fine. Just keep in mind, a few of these can take over the tank and you need plans to act accordingly.
