120 gal tank question

unless it is a older house with 2x12 floor joists I wouldnt risk it, because new houses with 2x8 floor joists wont be able to handle it...
 
and if you do decide to do it, make sure the tank is on a load bearing wall...
 
maybe a big african cichlid tank if you want to that

i would do a severum or two, some kind of saxatilis pike and maybe 3 or 4 bichirs, get a little mix of everything predatory agressive and fairl peaceful
 
go saltwater and do some lion fish or something . plus saltwater weights less than freshwater , so you save a little weight . lol .

Saltwater is far denser then freshwater. Plus you add all the pounds of live rock and equipment. You do the math.
