120 Jungle Update

Those Discus look really good! That poor Angel looks nice, but the guys probably sad being the only one in the tank. I LOVE the overgrown look!!! With that many plants, and as long as your filtering is keeping up, I don't see you being overstocked much. The plecos are poop machines, but the others are probably close to self sufficient with all that roughage. I want all my tanks to have grass like that, but it will never happen because I'm not using CO2.

I also do not have any CO2 and do not fertilize... At the time of the picture there were 3 angels, but he is alone now because 2 of the 3 spawned so they now have their own tank... At the moment i am running
an AC 110 and a marine 360 canister for filteration

Its been a little while, some fish added some taken out, same with plants... Thanks to a friend of mine i now have a variety of plants, even more than before.. And a new discus!! I lost a discus though too . one of my males succumbed to a parasite.. Unfortunately I could not stop it or make it better... But I bought a female red dragon after seeing my friends... His already have wigglers!! Im sooooo jealous..

Been a while, many changes... Discus have paired off.. Now I have 3 breeding pairs! They have all been seperated and a new breeding project has been started!! Check it out in the DIY section under "Beginning of a new fishroom". So, some fish removed, some added, same with plants... had a problem with black-hair algae... What a pain in the ass!!! Now it seems under control.. Fingers crossed.. So now current stock list in the 120 includes:

2 discus: The matriarc of the group who's mated partner passed due to a parasitic infection. And a runt male who is now trying to court the female... Removed has been 6 discus all now in different stages of spawning..

1 chocolate Angel: 2 others removed now a breeding pair

5 differnet plecos: Gold nugget, blue phantom, green phantom, L114 sailfin leopard, sultan

3 Bolivian Rams: 2 have paired off and will be moved into the large breeding project in the basement..

4 different eels: 2 spiny a fire eel and another, G. tile ("FW" Moray) who is doing spectacular-his 3rd + year in the discus community, and a baby Sengal bichir..

and a couple loaches...

Here's a couple pics
