Nah my Jack Dempseys and Green Terrors don't really bother each other. My Dempsey male sometimes chases my Green Terror around the tank, but that's it.

But they are in a 190 (almost 7 feet). So I don't really know how it would be in a 120 of course.

190g (almost 7ft) is a nice size tank for cichlids. Thats probably why they get along so well.
That's probably the reason.
But then again I had a 7 inch JD and a 7 inch GT that got a bacterial infection at the same time, so I put them together in a 75 gallon hospital tank, and there wasn't much fighting.

yea i dont know i already have an oscar in a different tank but i dont think im going to put him in with my jd im looking for something different herre he is though.

Oscars have the potential to way outgrow a green terror. I would move the Oscar to the 120g and maybe try some smaller tankmates with him.

Forgot to mention...

Then use the 75g to house a green terror.

Or try them both out in the 120g with some dithers like a Convict or small group of silver dollars. And then use the 75g for something different like bichir's.

I've kept jd's with oscars green terros and texas. I had a pair of texas kept with 2 male jd's and were fine. My 150 currently has 1 jag, 2 jd's, 2 oscars, couple green terrors. They all get along fine now but they are also only about 2-3" tops. Time will tell on that combo.
