great job! Can't wait to see it stocked and running

Ok thanks for all the comments :).... They are greatly appreciated
Ok I have now Bought a sequence pump (aqua evolution 12000 model) I Have fitted that and connected to tank ( I will be adding a union in there enabling me to un mount as and when. Pre filter is just a precaution incaise debris come into the pump form the sump (highly unlikely)
I worked out that the two other 1.5" bulkheads should give me the flow i need to match the pumps. Im fitting valves onto them inorder to control flow if needed.

A sequence 12000 is a ridiculously massive sized pump even for this tank, the strainer basket is completely unnecessary, the only reason for it would be to prime the pump but where it is it should not need it.

Wow that sounds a bit critical, not meant that way just curious about the decisions to get to this stage, bare in mind I run a sequence 18 on my pond.

No harm. well I wanted a very large turnover in this tank. I have a 100 gal sump (which is going under the tank by the airpump). I bought the strainer really because it was on offer for £15 which is a steal.. I know its not needed really. If it turns out to be more powefull than i need ill swap for smaller one.

Fair enough, your right £15 for the strainer is a steal

Looks awesome. I thought that was like 700 gallons instead of 600? I was thinking of using those dimensions to get glasscages to build me a present for graduating college soon lol. I could be wrong though, either way that tank looks amazing! Love the footprint

Just used to conversion tool on this site and it came out to be
699.18 gallons
Congrats! You gained 100 gallons overnight lol, that's always good news!
