120" x 48" x 28" Stingray tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hello fellow MFK'rs been a while since I posted. I thought id post an updated video of my 10ft tank. I have added a 24watt UV as the water got to pea soup colour. Uv sure did its job. I took sand out because its easier to maintain. im thinking of putting something black on the bottom though. I also added a 120ltr per minute air pump to keep oxygen levels high and thats the story so far. :nilly:

Glad you got the cracked base sorted for a start.

The rays look absolute stunners :D

Air stone looks like they're doing a mega job too, i would agree on the black base would really make the tank look smart.

What size are the rays now? (really think you should reconsider about selling this group, regardless of the offer)

i kept a male & female motoro for a while along with my bass but compatibility was an issue so traded them for some tiger fish, my friend keeps a male otorongo jaguar ray I have always liked the black rays myself, very expensive though, Jake has one for sale at the moment, a 9" male which is £1100 i think off the top of my head. . . serious money

Looking good buddy!

Glad i subscribed now that is stunning to see.

I really like it with the trim and the tiles aswel and those air stones look like they are doing a great job.

Im looking at having a 120" by 48" myself soon by ND aquatics also.

What did you do to remedy the tank stand that cracked your tank? They have advised me to go with blocks aswel i was planning on building them out wide and use 2x RSJ to support across the middle with ply on top then foam.
