I've been doing africans for a couple years now and want to switch over to larger CA/SA cichlids. I have a 120g but I do not want to do a species only tank. I wanted to have more of a CA/SA community tank.
These are some of the fish I thought might be able to coincide peacefully in a 120
- EBJD
- Paratilapia polleni
- Green Severum
- Cuban Cichlid
- Blue Acara
- Firemouth
- Chocolate Cichlid
- Red Hump Eartheater
- Rainbow Cichlid
- T-Bar Cichlid
I know EBJD's can be quite aggressive, but I figured since they are both smaller and less aggressive than regular JD's, that I might be able to possibly do one in a community tank.. If you guys think its a bad idea, thats ok, because I kind of wanted to work around the Paratilapia polleni.. However I do not want to do a pair.
Does anyone have any ideas of what I should stock in the 120? I figured I'd probably be able to get away with 4 decent sized fish, without overcrowding it..
