Good plan! That's what I'm hoping to do with my gts, get a pair as they grow out and give them the tank. As for filtration i know sponges do a great job but don't like the look. I think you'll be good on the fx4 but time will tell. Do you have cycled media in there from the cons?

I just meant in the 120 if there's no fish in there for a few days your cycle may need to be restarted. Unless your going fishless cycle.
