Hello,

Had this tank up for a few years. Was salt, but switched to native. It is 120g, 4 foot long tank. Filtration is a wet/dry along with an algae scrubber setup in the back room with a 50g stock tank for a sump.

here are some pics of the inhabitants.
so far:
1-unidentified sunfish caught in local waters in PA
1-crayfish caught in local waters (same place as sunfish)
1-green sunfish bought from zimmermans
1-redfin pickerel (not shown it was hiding)
1-algae eater which is massive in size
1-goldfish. This fish was part of my cycle and he just lived and grew and grew and was never eaten (had a rockbass till it decided to jump out)

now for the pictures....

that goldfish is giant and eats everything including worms and minnows. I just hope he shows the other fish how to eat pellets. He deserves to live in the tank because he survived the cycle, the rock bass and he even carpet surfed but i was luckily in the room. Now i have something on the top to prevent surfing

finally got pics of pickerel and crayfish

Nice longfin albino bristlenose pleco and nice greenie!

Your other sunfish is a redbreast, btw. Very crisp pics, thanks for sharing.
thanks for the id. my daughter said the same thing but i didnt believe her...oops

I love the driftwood .

ebay special. I should remove the stone i drilled to the wood so it would sink. When i got it, it floated. I drilled a hole in some sandstone and put a stainless screw into through it into the wood so it would sink.

pleco doesnt eat much algae since i have the algae scrubber. Will take pics of filtration soon

my pellet training is starting to work. Sunfish are always looking for food and watching the goldfish eat. They havent taken any pellets yet, i may mix them with some frozen bloodworms. I also got the pickerel to take worms. I have a worm compost so i doubt i will ever run out of worms.

Once again great pictures, I had a friend who bred mosquito fish for feeders and scuds for nutrition, if your going to go that route.

it isnt really as messy as it looks, but here is the sump area
