  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
looks great man, i want to redo my 120 and most of the plants i see is what i was thinking about.... i went and bought about $50 in fake plants over the weekend and i will show it in a thread i am going to start here in a few... the only reason i did cause for what i want i don't think i have the lighting for right now and i want to spend my money focusing on a bigger tank... but stop by and see what you think in mt thread here in about an hour. i'd appreciate it.

Great looking tank. What are you feeding those redheads? They look like the gained 20lbs since you got them. Nice and fat!

That looks great! Great fish and great planted look. Hopefully you don't end up having the algae problems I have (same main fish and plants). What lights do you have on the tank?

Thanks so much guys - really appreciate the nice words.

Nothing fancy - just a pair of Penn-Plax Aquari Lux 48" FL-40 for now. May have to get something serious to keep the swords alive....some CO2 as well....$$$:irked:

LOL they constantly beg for food....spy on me all the time... rush to the front of the tank and swim up and down at the first sight of me....really hard to resist!

Breakfast: Hikari Bio Gold, Omega One shrimp pellets, Ocean Nutrition veggie pellets, and freeze dried bloodworms.
Luch: none :D
Dinner: Hikari Bio Gold and freeze dried krill pre-soaked in vitamine solution, Omega One shrimp pellets and Ocean Nutrition veggie pellets.
Late night snack: Frozen bloodworms or brine shrimps.

No feeding on Mondays.

They usually finish everything in under 30 seconds....pigs!!

80 watts of light on a 120 - I think you need more to keep the plants happy. T5s are nice :)

Disaster - Guianacara just spawned in the tank

Congrats! I have come to the conclusion that fish will spawn when inconvenient for the aquarist and not otherwise :) I'd love to see some pictures!

Save some of the fry so we can do some trading ;)
