  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Excellent job bro, glad you made good use of all those plants and the rock work!

Keep in mind that anubias v. ekona that's starting to flower in the middle is going to get HUGE in time, keep an eye on it! Get yourself some ferts and go to town dude.

I'll be by for those bichirs later this week if that's alright - I'm booked up until at least Wednesday, probably going to be Friday though.

Really happy dude, it looks awesome!

Dude, thank you!!! This setup is my dream setup. It would not have been possible without your generosity. I couldn't believe you gave me such a big anubias! Budding too! I can't wait to see it settle in, I'm planning to cover the rock in anubias species.

I'll be tying the moss to the driftwood on the left, and maybe adding some anubias nana to it.

Thanks man! I was surprised at how easily I decided on the placement of the rocks and driftwood, it all just sort of blended well.

Can't wait to see what it looks like in a month when the plants all get establsihed :D

Thanks bro; they really do like it! :)

I was surprised how much space there is in-between the rocks and underneath the driftwood. I can't see my 12" palmas palmas, or most of the bichirs

It might work out after all, but I still want more rope fish :)

You're right about running out of space after aquascape. Beautiful setup though. I actually dig this setup more than your 180 setup you had before. Those angels looked familiar! Keep me updated on how much maintaince is require on a setup like your. I always wanted a setup like that but fear the burden of extra maintainance work.

Where did you get the gravel from?

Is that the 6" delhezi for sale?:naughty:

six inch??!!! :grinno: It's 10" bro, got the pics to prove it :D

That's one of my uber-keepers, it doesn't go anywhere :)

I like this setup a lot more than my 180g too. I tried something like this once with the 180, but it didn't come out the way I wanted.

The maintenance is simple, the only extra is dosing fertilizers for the plants, and you can buy the seachem chemicals and a $10 bottle lasts months.

The only thing I'm worried about is waste getting stuck in the caves, but I'm already thought of a solution... see that powerhead with prefilter attached to it in the pics?

That will double as my 'cave cleaner' and I will use it to blow out debris from the caves every water change.
