I gotta agree on the wood being lovely ^^ It came with the tank so I didnt have to prepare it - lucky me since I have no tub. The smaller piece I just put in the shower
The Oscar is very calm and no, it hasen't nipped the plants :0 they've only been in a few days though so he might decide to chop them later on. But I think the plants to the right is too thick for him to hurt anyways. They'r kinda expensive but Im planing to gradually fill the right side with those. As for swimming space I think its fine, the high point of the driftwood is only about 5" thick.
