120gallon full of jag fry

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I started feeding my fry last night. put crushed pellet in a tube in the water then dump tank water in the tube, it drops it right on there little bitty heads.

I was warned about removing the fry to soon as it can set them to a another spawning cycle. the problems really accur when the male is ready and female is not, does she have an escape hatch? say a hole in a divider that he can not fit through but she can?

as for the Gar, bad new man, may be time for a clove bath.

Yeah she seems ready as well, she's been digging, and some shaking going on.I will reset the tank with hiding spots for her.wasbt much aggression with the last spawning, just a little chasing. I'm not keeping any from this upcoming spawning, as for the gar , I'm pretty sure he has sustained internal injuries as well. It really sucks because I really like this guy, I hand feed him and everything.he looks worse tonight staying on the bottom of the tank. Sadly if he isn't showing vast improvement in the morning I will do what needs to be done.

Looking good will sorry to hear about your gar mate :(
I've got two remaining jag babies that have escaped my make shift breeding trap and are chilling in the main tank with mum and dad :D none of the cats can get near them or just keep missing them
