125 Bowfront possible?

dont use standard aquarium silicone, they make stuff that has MUCH higher tensile strength and more stretch before loosing its seal, its probably just too much pressure for standard silicone to work.

I agree. If there are only 8 of these made, I would try it out.
 
I would try to get in contact with marineland if at all possible and explain your situation, after all they built the tank, and see what they have on it.
Even if they can't help, depending on the price, I would take the risk, and try to brace and reseal it myself, as it isn't a tank you come across daily.
 
If you do decide to get it and re seal it, Definitely put an extra bracing structure across the top of the tank, and the bottom. It sounds like it would be a beautiful tank, really.:drool: But the design flaw would worry the hell out of me. Imagine coming home to an empty tank and loads of fish jerky? Nope, I wouldn't take the chance. But if you do it, pics and progress please!:D
 
As of now I am going to pass on it. I still think it would be a really beautiful tank, but the owner insists that it is not worthy to reseal since it has already been done once by the manufacturer.
