I had a135 with glass top, t5 light fixture gravel, stand listed for $120. I ended up throwing in a pound of massivore to get $80. Wasn't in the best condition but you get the idea

it's gonna be WAY more hassle than it's worth , stick to fishkeeping ... IN MY EXPERIENCE craigslist "flippers" are pretty much a greasy bunch of hoarder trolls, hope I don't hurt anybody's feelings
For the actual aquarium, glass or acrylic, all day long that's top dollar for it. But I'm sorry, depending on the accessories that are with it we all know the true value of things. Wood stand/canopy that's a set with quality lights, filtration and if you get some decorations that you like $2.50-$5 per gallon IMO is very much acceptable and still a good deal vs new. Of course quality comes into play and that's why you look at it. I'm personally happy with my 120 (48x24) purchase. $500 with manzanita driftwood, fluval FX5, 2 heaters, RJ Maple stand and canopy, glass lids and 2 T5HO fixtures 1 single tube and 1 dual tube fixture. Normal used scratches and his dog chewed a corner that was repaired with wood putty, sanded and restained. Setting the stand and canopy together yields a difference of one looks a little newer as far as the stain goes. Sadly working 70 hours a week doing landscaping has set me back from doing anything with it other than looking at it as I walk from my truck into the house in the garage. Same goes for my boat lmao....
My 125 I paid a little higher. It had 1 scratch on the back glass from his turtle(s) (while noticeable, being on the back you have to look for it), glass lids 8 bulb T5HO with receipt that it was only 1 month old, fluval FX5 only being 6 months old with a LOT of extra filter pads, 200 lbs gravel with driftwood, fake plants, glass lids, aerator, 3 heaters 2 in use 1 backup in box, with a stand in decent quality ( had 2 scratches and 1 door needed to be fixed. I gladly paid $650

Oh.....Jab this troll in the heart! I help finance my hobby doing this. It makes it possible to keep upgrading and adding tanks. My acrylic 240 including all equipment I have less then $100 invested.

I found my fluval and both the juwels I have owned to be very good quality. Granted the juwel internal filter isn't to everyone's taste but it served me well when i first started with community fish. Just out of interest where can you get a custom built with hood, stand etc. for that price?
