wi
well i went ang got the 125 today paid 125 for it it was used as a salt tank for 8 months and now leaks but i figured for the price and it has dual overflows what the hell why not try and fix it

this is the tank more pix to come
got it cleaned up a bit and all the old seals out to find that the bottom glass came loose in the front and thats why it leaks nothing on the bottom side just out the top of the bottom trim once you get it about 1/4 of the way full (had to try it before i took all the time to fix it) thats why its on the kitchen floor

Will be a nice deal once you put some elbow grease into it.

well the hard part is done beside cleaning the overflows thats next time i have off or done early tomorrow im gonna try and finish the prep work and maybe re seal it tomorrow night was working on it out on the deck and the bugs wanted to do other things like eat me so i gave up

Nice find, not sure if you have resealed before but a word of advice be patient. I did a 150 two days ago waited 35ish hours inspected it all looked good, filled it with water and the dang thing leaked. so I drained all the water cleaned up mess and started to strip it again and their was still wet (non cured) sealent under the top layer. maybe I put it on alittle too thick? I have it all resealed again and I'm not touching it until monday. Good luck with yours.

im waiting 72+ hrs then its 3 inches at a time with water let it sit and check again bought a big bottle of 91% alcohol to clean glass and 2 tubes of all glass sealant was gonna use ge but found original large tubes of all glass for the same price

couldnt just sit on my ass watchin tv drug it in off the deck and cleaned it up a bit more letting the moisture evap over night

i bet too oh wait i live with her i might be sleepin in it tonight

well found the problem and have filled the gap/ seperation and reseald the corners and bottom now we wait 72 hrs and temp cap the overflows then fill it up and hope for the best again 3 inches at a time and hope its not a waste of a day

no water test yet but it was kinda slow at work so i brought the overflows with me and cleaned the a little more still needs more scrubbing but its getting their the tank is all sealed and the overflows are back in put a little fatter bead of silicone along the bottom 2 layers first a little thinner so it would dry properly then the second a little thicker and with the 4 day dry time im giving it i should be good contacted aqueon seeing as the are technically all-glas and picked their brains about the sealant and from what they told me compared to ge its about 3 times better

pics will be up tomorrow night after work

Wait if your tank is leaking especially in the lower areas, dont you have to re-seal the whole tank? I thought old silicone/seal would not adhere to new silicone?
