Top panel is easy. The good thing is that the main part of the tank is in great shape, with the exceptions of some scratches. Did you ask how old the tank was? If its old, may want to think of resealing, just to give you peace of mind

tank is about a year... im going to fill it with water tomorrow and check for any leaks. yeah top panel should be easy, i can probably buy one at my lfs or if i can cut the one on my 100 right now. i'll probably have to replace the return hoses on my canisters since they were cut to fit my 100 other than that its ready.
btw when were AC110 called AC500's? lol

day one... filled the tank up with water to check for any leaks...
i have the AC110 that came with the tank running on my 100 with new bio media.
found out i am missing a glass panel for the top so ill have to order one today or friday.
now i am about to go to home depot to buy some paint and vinyl tubing for me two canisters... i will get pics up by tonight.

thanks everyone... here is an update. me and my mom painted the back of the tank (used three coats) and put the first coat on the stand. paint used is: Behr Paint and Primer: Suede Black (semi mat/gloss finish). we also painted the trim of the tank black so everything would match. sorry pics were taken using my phone.
