Hello fellow MFK members I need some help!
Just picked up a 125 gallon and got everything with it. The filters supplied to me by the people who sold me the set up are kind of crappy! I wanted to replace these before any fish go in it. I want to keep 3 decent size predator fish in this tank but I still havent decided what yet. any suggestions would be great! it is going to be a barebottom tank if that matters for fish selection.
What type of filtration is good for this type of set up? and affordable?
I was thinking 2 Marineland emperor 400 HOB power filters? They are on sale at my LFS for $45 each so 2 for $90 is more then affordable. Will these 2 keep up with the fish I want to keep? or would you suggest a canister filter? But please remember I dont want to spend to much money. If I had it my way I would have 2 Fluval FX5's
but that isnt happening!
ANY HELP YOU COULD GIVE ME WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
