125 Gallon Helluva Deal Fixer Upper Progress

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
thanks for the advice guys....i am now worry free:D So I spent several hours this weekend reburshing this setup and have the "after" pictures...the only thing I'm not completely satisfied with is the condition of the glass on the front side of the aquarium..too many scratches for me although it is a 10yr. old tank I take better care of my stuff than the previous owner did. Is there anything I can use to buff the scratches out a bit?
heres the pics!

Why can't you spin it around so the back is the front.

There's no fixing scratches in glass. You just have to hope that you can't see them very well when filled.

Room's looking good.

I was thinking about spinning it around, still plenty of time to do so but I am still not sure which would look better....several scratches in the front... or a few scratches in the front(which is currently the back) and a good sized chip on the front left edge?

I've decided not to spin it around, the back side has some pretty "baked in" looking hard water stains that several vinegar treatments couldn't remove so I'll be satisfied with how it is now...looks like I may be setting it up this weekend since I just sold a half stack and effects pedal for $200!

Heck, I would have bought a half-stack and an effects pedal for $200. I like to party! LOL

haha sweet man I had them posted on CL for a 2 days and they got SOLD quickly....I used to be in an alternative rock band as the lead singer/rhythm guitarist but we split apart 4 months ago and I don't plan on getting back in a band. I just like playin my acoustic and singin now. I'm pickin up some hydors from Keith in Avon as well as some 10,000K lights, and pool filter sand f/m other places (Specs and Leslies) so I can set up my 125 when I get off work on Friday!!! I now have a Polit female who is holding so I should have some fry in 3 weeks:)
