First thing... Calm down, you don't know everything... no one does. Second, I'm not talking about what someone else has said. I'm talking about actual planted tanks that I have had, and have tried many combinations of lights. I speak from experience. Again, as stated before, a high tech 125 will cost a lot of money, again I speak from experience, as I have set up many over the 150 gallon mark. Any high tech, high light, large tank over 100G will cost quite a bit of money to setup, and $180 is a drop in the bucket. But then, I don't like to cut corners, only to have the tank fail in 6 months because I didn't take the time to prepare from the start.JasonG75;4887522;4887522 said:I have never had any plants that didn't do extremely well in both lights (6700K & 10K) After someone told me the same thing I switched. You can do your own research like I did when I didn't believe what was told to me. With proper lighting, proper Fertz and co2 I get the same results as I did before the switch.
Some have money, some have more than others and some have more than sense. So putting something that cost 180.00 that will eventually RUN OUT, well it just isn't very smart. Root tabs cost $10, so I will stick with my PFS and laughing all the way to the bank. Just because one has money to do somthing doesnt mean there aren't other ways to do it CHEAPER.
