I have a 125 gallon tank with a red islatum female Freddy and a male Cuban and 2 bichirs in there I was wondering if I could put a male freddy in their with them for a breeding pair

I don't have any personal experience with freddies but I would think once they paired off that they would claim most of the tank, especially as they grew to full size.

I agree. I too have very limited experience with Freds, but from what I know about other species with that size and temperament, they're probably going to take over most, if not all, of that tank when spawning.

Just because you put in a male, doesn't mean they will be pair compatible.
Sometimes you're lucky and they do, but more often than not, one may kill the other.
If they are a pair, in a tank as small as a 125 they would breed and kill the other fish to protect the spawn.
