I guess for now I could put the floor in and use curtains. I can always add doors to it later on.
Changed my thought on staining it with red mahogany and decided to use golden pecan instead. (had a can in the shed still so its free!)

I would go with the floor and curtains now, then whenever you can, add the doors. Looking good so far.
Ok I went and cut the plywood for the floors. Not the prettiest but it will work. Stained everything. Tomarrow I will be tacking the floors down and adding the top trim and them putting curtains on (or leave bare for now). Then that should be it. I would of taken pics after I got done with the stain but it was getting too dark out to take a good one. I'll just wait until I finish it up tomarrow. Should only take me about a half hour to finish it completely.
All finished. My camera the white is shot in it or something, but you can see in a few pics the color that the whole stand actually is. Nice golden pecan.
The tank looks great but are you planning on using HOB filters on that tank? If you plan on using a canister or wet/dry filter you will need to add some holes on the back wall of the stand.
Yea I plan to just use a keyhole saw and cut out just what i need. I will also put a power strip in the cabinet as well. Once I get the filter in the mail i'll figure out where I need to put the holes and such.
looking good mate. glad you decided to post a lot of pics. im planning to build my first stand and all these threads with tons of pics are coming in very handy. hope mine looks as good. wont be for a few months though still in planning and gathering tools.
