With good filtration & 2x 50% WC weekly, that stock sounds just fine to me. I'd stick with a max of 6 geos & cap the congos off at 12-15. Congos are a big tetra and don't fit you SA theme, but they are by far my favorite tetra. With a stock of 6 angels, 6 geos and 12-15 congos, I'd have no problem adding a smaller pleco or two and a small shoal of corys as long as your water change regimen can keep up. Good luck!
