125 gallon stocking

I have kept planted tanks, semi aggressive community, small community fish, various small -med combinations of cichlids. Had a south american biotope for awhile.

The only thing I haven't done is really large fish or predators. But predators would take some convincing of the gf to be ok with it.

I have a 10 gallon reef and would love a larger saltwater tank, but it's not in the budget right now.

The tank is the main point in the living room I am trying to find one or two large colourful/interesting fish to put in there.

there are definitely some interesting looking vieja that could work. I have looked into frontosa a bit. It was my understanding they do better in groups of 5+. I don't think my tank would be big enough for that.

You can house 5 or 6 fronts in a 125 imo

I like the clown knife, but I think they get too big for my tank. The tank is only 18" wide.
