I have had this tank system setup up and running for over 6 weeks now. It is cycled and I have used it to quarantine a 13 inch Iridescent shark. I have been waiting for the eco complete soil for the bottom. I put that in last week. here are some of the picture from the set up.

I added the 55 to the stand. When I did this I strengthen the store made stand with screws to replace the nails. I also refinished the stand.20170908_160822.jpg
Remember to put the back brace in!

Before the water test I had to level the tank. I couldn't believe how unlevel my floor was!20170911_141335.jpg

First inhabitants in any of my tanks. They don't always stay, but they always get to check it out first! Convicts are the guys that started it for me. My first type of fish and my first fry. I think in the same week. LOL20170911_182253.jpg 20170919_064449.jpg

I finally got the moving bed filter to start churning. It really takes a few weeks. I had to add a fountain pump as well as the air stones. I am still fine tuning this filter. I have a cycled Sun-sun canister filter for backup right now. And of course, the plants. I try and use plants in all my Aquariums.20170911_133407.jpg
