Just want to show my tank a bit. The current stock is 4 uaru a., 6 geophagus tapajos, 5 WC Pterophyllum scalare, 3 Cleithracara maronii, 2 Leporacanthicus triactis, and 1 L333 with a couple diamond tetras. So far its a very peaceful tank with the exception of the angels picking on the smallest of them (which I think I'll be moving to a different tank) despite the fact that all 6 geos have pair off and have spawned a few times. A little bit of drift wood goes a long way in that respect.

Thanks guys, the angels aren't that big yet, the uaru are still on the smaller side, about 5" tl. I'm waiting to see what this tank is like once they reach full size or start to breed.

Everything looks awesome. I didn't realize the tapajo's get a hump. It also looks like a live plant growing out the back.

Yea I had some pothos stock in the top but I would come home to the roots all torn apart from the uaru, so I've moved the plants to another tank. And Yea my tapajos have pretty prominent humps on the more dominant ones, I didn't know that either. It seems like most pics online are when they are more juvenile or something. They only developed when they were around 5"

Here is a pic from a while ago of my tapajos with the biggest hump
Same fish as my avatar currently

Looks great

that looks amazing! your aquascaping and lighting looks very natural. plus the geos are found in plantless water filled with bits of driftwood in most cases. did you keep any of the babies? I had 4 tapajós but now I only have one. biggest one killed off the rest which I assume were mostly males which is very unfortunate. but he plays nice with my other geos and fish.
