So I picked up this tank on CL yesterday. (Sorry for the ad pic, I've yet to set it up) You can kinda tell from the pic the previous owner took pieces of plexiglass and siliconed them in the corners (kinda a messy look and it takes away a fair amount of swimming area) with in/out put holes drilled in both sides. Is there a way I could forgo this and take the Plexiglas out or will that put too much pressure on the pvc pipes? I've never set up a filtration system with a drilled tank before so sorry for all the newb questions.

Personally, I would leave 'em as-is. I don't know about you, but I can see using them for refugium spaces. Like if you have fish that destroy plants, you could use one or both to grow plants away from the fish. You would get the benefits of the plants and keep 'em safe from plant eaters. You might also grow scuds or other live food in them.
