The funny part is, I’ve kept fish for over 20 years, cichlids for over 15 years, I’ve done independent research and I’m more than confident that a variety of these can and will work out. I am good friends with hobbyists with similar setups and they have made them work long term without any issues. They simply haven’t kept the exact combination of fish in question, they’ve made different tweaks. I don’t really know anyone who have kept Cubans so it was welcoming to hear that they aren’t for the setup in question. Hence why I came here for some added guidance. They said 9 out of 10 don’t make the combinations work, well I’m that 1 out of 10 that does because I do research and am not afraid to ask for additional help and support along the way.You guys are bullies...
It sure would be nice if every poster did extensive research on their own and came here to ask questions refining their final decisions, instead of starting with wild ideas. But a lot of people prefer conversation to research. So they come here first.
If you don't want to help them, just don't. But mocking them for asking questions is just being a bully.
No wonder forums like this died out.
Let’s face it, they aren’t bullies, a lot of them are snarky nerdy wannabe know it alls, I find it easy to laugh with them
Appreciate you fighting my corner though and I agree, if you don’t have anything constructive to add on a specific inquiry seeking further advice from actual experience, seems a little sad little life to live, constantly feeling the need to comment with subtle jabs and discouraging remarks.
