hey,
I have a 55g with 3 EBJD, 2 Green Terror, and 1 reg JD. All are between 1.5''-2.5''. I got a 125(72''x18''x24'') for a steel,$120.00 from a LFS that was closing down. Will the 125 be adequate for all these cichlids for life?
Thanks in advance

of course, is 125g new?

personal opinion hehe.

Id say no, with all of them at full growth potential. Green Terrors can be 12", Ive seen regular JDs at 10" & Im not sure about EBJDs, but I think they get to 8 or so. It could work, but I personally wouldnt do it. You could always just keep them together until you feel its getting crowded then get rid of one of the GT's.

I won't be willing to give up one of the GT's. I will likely not have 1 or more of the EBJD's due to their high fatality rate. by the time they are all adults. soo hopefully getting rid of one wont be neccesary.

The stock list seems fine to me.

I don't see why you couldn't make that work. It's good that they are all together at a young age. I'd say if you have good filtration on the tank and have some hiding spots to keep aggression down you should be good.
