1 plan to put my oscar , jack dempsey, and goldsaum in a 125 and possibly a gold severum. I like to have a few fish with good looks , and a few with personality.

Crenicichla regani, severums, small geophagus 2 pairs of apistos. what could be better then that??? oh and maybe some acarichthys and some biotodoma!!!!

I'd either do a group of 8 'Geophagus' Tapajos Orangeheads, two pair of Laetacara sp. Bucklekoff, and two pair of Crenicichla regani 'Tapajos' and a huge school of lemon tetras ...

or

a large group of say 10 bolivan rams, two pairs of Laetacara dorsigera (or one pair and a trio of apisto's: borelli or mamore) and two pairs of Crenicichla regani 'Mamore' with a huge school of black phantom tetras.

For bigger fish I'd do something like a pair of Aequidens patricki, a pair of Crenicichla proteus, and a pair of Tahuantinsuyoa macantzatza with a large school of bleeding hearts or diamond tetras.

a pair of dovii's? no, no.....they grow to 24''. but Mini-dovii (Cichlasoma grammodes) grow 12''.

i,m getting ready to buy a 125 gallon but out of need. I'm going to put a red belly pacu thats already 14" long, and a very large marble catfish, a large tiger oscar and a large pleco. Thats my dream tank at this moment. Dont you have fish that need a bigger tank already?
