It is possible the tank didn't require a cross brace originally but that should depend on the thickness of the glass.

Another thing to consider is the glass appears foggy or possibly even etched from mineral deposits so this may affect the view when looking at the tank.

Have you seen this tank in person?

No but he said the glass is a half inch thick he said hes had it 6 years it was a show tank he said not to worry but I thought tanks are supposed to have braces he said the last time he had the tank set up was 8months ago

I had a 150 gal tank made without a center brace up 24/7 for 30 years without incident. It was the old style made with thick glass.
When I moved 2 years ago it went to a friend who still has it going.

Can you tell me if the glass is close size to the 150 you had

Sorry, I no longer have the tank, so no way of eyeballing or measuring it.
But here is a corner

and here it is full

Do you think its a good deal for 350 it comes with a stand the tank and a canopy but no lights and a top to the canopy so i will build lights and a top to the canopy so should i buy it?
