129g Tank Advice

Your post is very long winded. You'd get much better responses asking specific questions in proper sub forums. I would advise more then just a single angel fish, in that size tank several pairs would be nice. Your stock seems bottom dweller heavy. A larger shoal of schooling fish will look better though size dependent. Too small a schooling fish may become snacks for the bichir.

I just thought it would be best to have it all in one spot. For example if I'm asking about filtration..perhaps a filter they recommend would be fine for the size tank, but I may need something stronger depending on my stocking. But if the stocking is in another thread..well..it just gets a bit confusing and seems harder to get more help.

I am worried about having pairs of angelfish as when breeding imagine they'd get aggressive.

It is indeed bottom dweller heavy as those are the kinds of fish I seem to prefer. Should I cut back on some of the fish? Open to suggestions :)

I believe we are set on Rosy Barbs for the schooling fish. I've read anything from 3-6", I'm hoping ours get at least 4" or so. I have our buddy at our LFS putting together a list of the fish I'm interested in, what sizes they can order them in at, and what prices they'd be, hopefully the price won't be too bad to get some already large rosy barbs. How many would you suggest, if they even work?

I will start posting in the sub forums though I think I've got most of my questions answered now. Thank you so much for responding btw!
