12inch+ pleco aggressive

My pleco attacks my arowana the sail-fin pleco is 30cm+ jardini is about 20cm anyone else have a aggressive pleco????

Many commons/sail fins get pretty aggressive after about 10", they head but everything away from their caves and food, they are tanks. Look into bristle nose plecos

wow thats crazy i havent really kept plecos but i always thought of them as gentle giants

What are you feexing the pleco? Maybe its hungry.

I feed him bloodworms and wafer flakes I do have 8 loaches and a feather fin as well

Most plecos become very territorial when they get big!!

Either rubber band them to a rock or stick a spoon through them...
