Just got the important stuff (excluding lighting). I'll order everything else soon. Sorry for the quality. View attachment 1214501
Looking good! Put a lot of thought into it, will be good to see what you come up with

I'm going to experiment with driftwood and lava rock. Hopefully they'll look good together.Looking good! Put a lot of thought into it, will be good to see what you come up with![]()
Did some plant shopping last night.Thought I'd update this thread a bit, I'm messing around with the Fluval Spec V tanks just now; but given that it's Christmas, and I can't afford to mess about chopping and changing tanks like I usually do, I'm attempting to keep satisfied with these for as long as possible lol. Currently running the following:
Tank 1: Fluval spec V - white betta

I like the oversized filtration in these tanks, and they have also improved the lighting; too much I think actually, I've had to add salvinia to block the majority of it and avoid algae
Tank 2: Fluval spec V - Crystal Black and Red Shrimp

Another spec v, with shirakura soil to drive the pH down, I just want these little guys to breed; it's a challenge I was unable to really fulfill in their 10l cube. More to come on this one, heavily laden with moss and Java trident.
Tank 3: Dennerle nano cube 10l -Sakura red shrimp

I also love the dennerle curved glass tanks, this one being no exception. Glass quality is nice, and its just a very stylish tank; the main drawback with the 10l is the size being limiting in shrimp breeding; also have to be super careful not to overfeed. I don't know what's happening with this one tbh, I like the dwarf hairgrass and anubias petite, but I'm desperate to get the shrimp breeding, otherwise it kind of defeats the purpose of keeping shrimp for meI think patience is key for this one
