130 gallon redo

I find with South Americans cichlids it really depends. The previous poster mentioned it a balancing act. I've had tanks that worked perfectly but when I tried to replicate it at a later point the same mix of fish didn't get along. They have their own personalities and some of them are just nuts.

I can’t find any parachromis but dovii and jags where I live, would a female dovii work or should I just keep trying for the loisellei

I’ve decided to change my mind on the tank and I wanted some bigger cichlids but not an oscar, would a female red terror, jack Dempsey, yellow jacket cichlid or loisellei and maybe a paratilapia polleni if there’s space, any suggestions would be appreciated
I don't think you can manage all those in your tank.
A Jack Demsey or a Green Terror could work as the centerpiece and it would probably be easier to find fish that can live with them than with a Red Terror.

Though if you have decided on a female Red Terror, you can try and grow her out with other fish, but be prepared that inspite of this when she grows up, she may suddenly snap and decide to kill everyone overnight, so be prepared to have a 1 fish tank.

I definitely would not replace the loisellei with any other parachromis. Can't see a dovii, jag, mota, sharing a 130g long term. Loiselliei is the least aggressive of those species.
