130 gallon stock list - How overstocked?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
sorry got confused , said there was gonna be one b. fh. in the tank and I saw two. The stocking does not look bad at the size they are now ..when they grow up it might be a little different. My biggest issues with the syns mixed with groups that I have had are they love to nip at all the other fishes fins and make all the fish look less than perfect.

I think the Vieja is gonna be an issue also...i had some in a community tank and they were savage...

Not much of a problem right now, its barely 1.5" and its in a divided 55 gallon with a 3" shortbody flowerhorn. I have always wanted one so I am not gonna risk my other fish attack/eating it.

Synspillum IMO/E aren't as agressive as flowerhorn. All the Vieja I've known have been very chill but "don't **** with me" fish. If the Syn's the smallest he'll probably hide in the shadows until he gets bigger. This is a really subjective question though, you cant say for sure. I would not mix oscar with a flowerhorn though.

Depending on your fish sizes and your flowehorns temperment you could pull this off for maybe a year. The parrots would have to be much bigger than the FH though, as some FH will just start murdering in the night.

You might be able to do it for longer without the flowerhorn though. FH's's th sticky wicket in this situation.

What all of these fish do you have already, and which ones are you considering getting?
That would be important, as you gotta include th ones you got
