Not to be rude but I read the other 4300G epic thread the other day while doing research for my own build in the future, but did you ever manage to get that to be fully waterproof? I see you're using BlueMax here so did you come to the conclusion that the stuff you were using before (Permadry?) was not suitable for the application if it is not sprayed on professionally?
For my own project, I am leaning towards building 2- 350 gallon and 1 700+ gallon aquarium along the wall of my basement. I am also strongly leaning towards Pond Armor as so many people in my local fish club have had great success with it often having their tanks be leak proof on the first filling.
The 4300G wasn't me, I haven't used Permadry. This 1350 Gallon thread is my first build. I was in the air on membranes. I liked the giving nature of the blue max, read a lot of the more rigid coating crack and fail after a while. Others that have used bluemax report it water logs and deteriorates after many years of being submerged. I am attempting to harden my finish with a top coat of krylon polyurethane. I am on the verge of water testing, but I need to finish some plumbing prior to filling. Should be soon.
