Hey everyone sorry to bring a dead post back to life but I really need opinions kind of important.. so I know most thought adding silver dollars is fine which I was good with. But something came up a friend of a friend is a useless fishkeeper they have a 5 year old sailfin pleco that's about 10 inches so idk if it will get much bigger but I heard he's going to euthanize it because it's tearing his plants up which is ridiculous. Could I add him into this tank instead of the silver dollars and save him from death...

Should be fine with your other fish imo. But be warned, a full grown gibbiceps will be about equal to a small school of SD in terms of bioload. Just make sure you can keep up with maintenance/water quality once all those fish are big.
