bristle nose are excellent, and come in lots of colors, what do you want the pleco for though? for the look or algae purposes?

For algae I'd go for bristle nose and ottos.

I also just added this to my own tank:

It's called red lizard catfish.

It's peaceful, looks weird and is not shy.

Could be something to consider.

This is the 135 gallon setup without fish was wondering if common plecos are bad for this type of setup. my Jungle Val is getting destroyed and am not sure if it's the clown loaches or pleco?

Is that a goldfish I see in the reflection on the right?

My guess is either the Pleco or goldfish that's ruining your plants, or both.

Yes that's a Goldfish he's old like 30 years old. I thinking Pleco but I haven't been able to pinpoint who's doing it. So for now I have removed the plants and put them in another tank and so I'm gonna have to wait to see what I can do.
