Hey guys, my 135 is completely cleared out and ready for african cichlids finally. I plan on putting my breeding group of star sapphire's in there and I was wondering what I could add with them?
This is what I wanted to add with them?

4x star sapphire (1m 3f)

4x yellow labs

Or

2 frontosa (tank raised together)

What are the dimensions of the tank? I only know one person who has successfully don't fronts and star sapphires so I would talk directly to him if I were you. From what I hear, fronts like to be in a big group....not a pair.

I always like at least four females in a Malawi group.

Dimensions are 72"x18"x24". One of my females passed due to an internal parasite,I'm going to get more sometime soon.

Yellow labs would go nicely with the SS. They would inhabit the hardscape of your tank whilst the SS will hang more in the open water. The color contrast will be nice as well. If possible I would add 1M3F labs, more females if possible.

Even though yellow labs are pretty common, when you start with high quality labs, I have always been able to trade them at LFS for credit or other fish as they readily sell d/t their bright yellow coloration.
