can there just be a thread where someone can just sell a fish or give a fish away with out the "fish and game commission" in all of us comes out....Every freak in thread is somebody telling somebody that there "tanks to small", "that dress makes u look fat" yadda-yadda...The person does not live with you so who cares..Let the member sell his "fish" on his own terms, not YOURS!!!!.. stop trolling on his thread and mind your damn business, if your not gonna buy it then BUMP IT UP FOR HIM/HEr or keep your typing tp yourselves ...BUMP for ya and your 14'' channel...

You know what! Im glad someone finally said that!!

I really cant stand people who just pop into peoples thread and complain.

The funny thing too is like you said, "the tanks too small" , you know what......Its alway to small!!!!!!!!! You can have a lake in your backyard and someone will come out and go " Dude you need to upgrade"

Just for the record, he just came out of a 8 foot tank. Like I said, this is his Jail for being a bad boy...

And I know better than to release.

Just thought I'd give someone a chance at a pretty nice fish...Good personality, TONS of energy, has been keeping my GG on his toes. My only real problem with him is he is a bit too pushy (Even compaired to other cats we have / have had in the past), and smart too.

Looks like he may be going back to the LFS, I just hate to do that (Not knowing what kind of home he'll be going to). I just had to choose between him at this size and a very small giraffe cat. I picked the giraffe...

Channel Cats are awesome! Honestly if I had an 8 foot tank , I'd probably keep a Channel Cat and some Bullheads and Largemouth Bass.

Thanks everyone, I Didnt mean to start a fight here on the "Tank is too small" or "release into the wild here", I'm just trying to find my boy here a GOOD home...Along with all of the other tanks, cages, habitats and family, there just isn't room for me to set another one that would do him justice...So something has to go.

It's not that I really want to get rid of him, like I said, he really does have a great personality, and looks awesome. I know, it's "Just his Nature", but he has been particularly Curious and hi-strung as opposed to his Bullhead buddy we have in the tank as well and any other channels I've had in my years keeping fish.

Are we talking the same giraffe cats here? You woruld pick a channel over a Giraffe??? I'm talking Auchenoglanis occidentalis Giraffe's here: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=149

And I do have a problem when I see my "Dime a Dozen" channel trying to gulp up a giraffe that have been going for $70+ aroud here lately. I searched long & hard to find these boys and aren't gonna give up my giraffes without a fight...

Those Giraffe catfish look like Big Cory's with Down Syndrome....
