Alright sweet thanks for the advice. As for substrate im thinking of going with EcoComplete, any clue how many bags it would take to get a decent amount to start planting stuff?

Pretty planted tank you got there. Are you running DIY co2 on that?

thank u, and yes there are 2 forms of Co2 supplementation occurring in the tank.

1. DIY Co2 with extra yeast for a faster reaction.

2. Seachem Excel dosing 2ML a day and 10ML after water changes.

i use EcoComplete in my 15 gallon, i recommend 1.5-2 bags worth. DONT rinse it!
