Alright, so does anyone remember the whole ordeal about me getting a 29 from a friend that works at petco? Well it turns out it was a 15, totally lagging my big plan. Well the stock I wanted for a 29 won't work in the 15, so what can I do in there? all stock lists/recommendations are recommended. I prefer cichlids, catfish, oddballs, and any sa/ca fish, I can go with something different though. Thank you so much in advance!

I keep Fundulopanchax gardneri in my 15 gallon :)IMG_20180820_215725.jpg

you could do a planted tank or even a small coral reef.

How beautiful. I’ve been thinking about a killi tank. But my lfs doesn’t carry them. Live in Milwaukee. Any idea where I can find them?
There should be killifish associations in the US, and people can post eggs around to each other :)

You could always order online if you can't get what you want in store.

I like the idea of finding things that live in local streams, the Wildlife, Parks & Tourism of Kansas website says the following live in Kansas; Black bullhead catfish, black crappie, blue catfish, bluegill, channel catfish, drum, flathead catfish, green sunfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, paddlefish, rainbow trout, redear sunfish, sauger, saugeye, smallmouth bass, spotted bass, striped bass, walleye, white bass, white crappie, wiper, and yellow perch.

Now I don't think any of these will fit in a 15 gallon. I can look for minnows but that would be hard. If any of these can fit in a 15, i have to find tank raised/bred right? Would taking things from a local (clean) body of water like dirt, wood, and plants be okay if I go with a local species of fish? (only if it fits)

Aren't killifish native all over the U.S.? Would any kansan/us native killies work?

I know not to take any live fish from my local bodies of water, even if it were perfectly legal, it's cruel to take a fish from a massive body of water and shove it into a tiny glass box (compared to where they would've been recently.)
